Item not as described. Sold from Calif but seller wants return to UK
The vest I ordered is a size small and I ordered a 3xl, I cannot even get it to close. The seller has been persistently requesting redundant information such as the order number and pictures ect. The item was shipped from California as depicted on eBay. Having paid 17.00 for the item, it will be more expensive to return it to the Ukraine. Why is the seller allowed to use California as a location buy for returns going to the Ukraine?
Sadly, all my attempts to reach out to eBay via phone have been futile, and I am on the brink of withdrawing my association with them, despite being a long-term customer.

The seller is not allowed to provide a return address where it costs more to send there than to where it was advertised as coming from.
If you selected 'does not match the description' as the reason for return the seller would be paying the return shipping, and must send you the money for return shipping before you pay for it. If you selected doesn't fit, you have to pay the return.
Either way, go to your return request and click 'ask us to step in'. eBay can instruct the seller to provide a US return address, or send you the money to pay for the return, if he is responsible.
If you haven't opened a return request, do that first -
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reason for return, select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
