Item not as described
I sold a vintage radio internationally and the buyer states that the radio does not work as stated in my description. Buyer hasn't suggested anything but is wondering on what should be done so what should I do?

If it was built in the US and designed for 60 HZ and some European power grids use 50 HZ, that could affect how the radio plays ... or does not play. The same thing can happen with electric motors. You've sold a few radios so I don't know which one you are referring to but do you have the HZ specified in the listing?

No problem but you should ask the customer if they are on a 50HZ power grid ... I am sure they can obtain a 50HZ to 60HZ frequency converter over there: 50 to 60hz frequency converter - Search

Mentor4 months agoThe buyer will have to file a Return Request and use the reason "defective" or "doesn't match description".
Here is how you handle the request:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/handle-return-request-seller?id=4115
NOTE: Items sold via eBay International Shipping (EIS) are always set to allow returns but the returns will be handled by eBay, no matter what the reason for the return YOU get to keep the money, eBay will refund the buyer and possibly eBay will liquidate the returned item to recover the refund monies they give to the buyer.
