Item Not as Advertised

Question

I bought an item on eBay from a third party seller that was very specifically advertised as one thing but when I tried to use it I found it was not as advertised.

I have tried to get in contact with the seller but the seller has not responded to my message. Does eBay help to negotiate with such an issue?

There is nothing you need to negotiate.

If you received an item that is not as described, you have 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
