Give it a few more days. Thousands of flights have been cancelled daily for the past week, delaying shipments, and Monday is a postal holiday. Many sellers can't get out of their homes to ship packages.
If you don't have your item by mid to late next week. If you haven't received your item by then, use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
In the meantime, check your Purchase History to see if there is a tracking number. If so, look at the information provided. You can also use the contact link next to the transaction or on the item listing to ask your seller if he has an update.
I am well aware of shipping issues due to the weather. I am in the shipping industry. I do suspect/assume that like many sellers they under estimate the shipping costs. I find that alot.I always advised people to go to a shipping retailer to to get an estimate cost to be added to their cost. There is no tracking number in my purchase history
Sellers should not be estimating shipping costs (though some less experienced sellers do make that mistake). There is a function in eBay where the seller enters the size and weight of package, selects the carrier(s) and class(es) of service, and eBay displays the correct cost from the carrier's rate tables based on the buyer's zip code.
You didn't mention anything about not having a tracking number or about your experience with weather delays in the shipping industry so I would have no way of knowing that when I read your post and replied. That being said, the same process for what to do when you don't receive a package by the estimated delivery date applies.
