item not arrived ebay will not give refund

i bought a mattress topper on the 9th of this month,it has still not arrived,it is 18 days late and ebay will not refund my money,says i have to wait to 4th of may for refund,i have done nothing wrong so why am i being punished for anothers mistake????

Today is 16 days from the purchase date so how can it be 18 days late?

Since you are in the UK but complaining on the US board I'm assuming your complaint is with a US seller. International purchases take 2-3 weeks.

says i have to wait to 4th of may for refund eBay will refund you if the seller cannot provide tracking that shows delivery, but only after the last estimated delivery date has passed, when you have filed an "item not received" case with eBay, and the seller has had three business days to provide tracking showing delivery. If the seller does not do so, ask eBay to step in and get your refund. i have done nothing wrong so why am i being punished for anothers mistake? You are not being punished, you just have to wait until the item is actually late before you can start a claim through eBay. Otherwise buyers could buy things on eBay, wait until the items are shipped, and then get their money back and receive the items for free.
