Item never received. Seller won't refund.
I purchased the product last year. When I hadn't received it (showing in transit), I contacted the seller and was told it would be late. That scenario happened twice. Recently, I sent the seller a request a refund but was told that the transaction was closed even though the product was never received nor a refund issue. When I try to contact eBay about it, my inquiry comes to a dead end because of the order's closed status. There is something definitely wrong with how this was processed. How do I get my money back at this point? Thanks

You have eBay protection for 30 days from the original estimated delivery date. For the future this will help: The date you want to keep an eye on is the original estimated delivery date. One day past that is when you can process a claim.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
You can file a claim via the item in your Purchase History that you did not receive your item one day past the original estimated delivery date and up to 30 days after that. Follow the steps in the claim and they will lead to an eventual refund.
You can report a Seller here: Report an issue with a seller | eBay
You have waited too long to do anything in eBay and will have to pursue a dispute with your funding source but even that may be a challenge with how long it has been.
