Item never delivered. Discovered nearly a year later.
I purchased an item in Feb. 2024. I only recently discovered that it had never arrived when I was going through my purchase history. For additional context I ended up losing the job I had been working very shortly after I had made the purchase. As you can imagine things got pretty hectic for a period and I lost track of the fact I had purchased the item at all. Fast forward to present, I just rediscovered that I never received the item and now eBay considers the transaction closed due to the timeline (which I do understand is a relatively significant amount of time.) However, given that I did pay for the item I should have either received it, or received a refund. No shipping info or tracking was ever posted. Just paid for it and then nothing. What should/can I do?

Mentor1 year agoThere is actually little you can do about this now. Too much time has passed for either eBay or your payment source to give you any help. eBay can only helps for 30 days from the last estimated delivery date for the item. PayPal, credit and debit cards usually will only help you for 180 days from payment. You can check with your payment source to see if they are one of the few that cover you for longer time periods.
