ITEM NEVER ARRIVED, eBAY WON'T RECOGNIZE ORDER NUMBER
I ordered something overseas in November.
They told me it would take longer than usual for it to arrive.
In July, it just dawned on me that the item NEVER arrived. Tracking shows it has shipped but that's all. The seller won't do anything about it and eBay doesn't even recognize the order number. I can't get a human being to look at this case.
I'm not an experienced eBayer.
What to do?

You only have thirty days from the last estimated delivery date shown at the time of purchase to start an "item not received" case with eBay. After that, eBay cannot help.
You have likely waited too long to ask for help; very few credit cards offer any sort of help more than six months after a purchase, but you can try contacting your card issuer.
