Item never arrived
I bought a battery replacement for a friend of Feb 5th 2024 from a seller on eBay . Everything went as usual as per online shopping. On the feb 9th I got a notification that states the package was delivered (for clarification my address is a freight forwarding address), when I check the tracking it shows delivered to agent t for final delivery. I reached out to the seller and informed him of the situation and he ask If I could wait which I had no problem doing. I asked to have the correct status be displayed on the on my order page but the seller said it's beyond his control. About 4 or 5 day later I told the seller that I'm unable to wait any longer and I'll be requesting a refund to reorder. The seller told me despite being able to see that the order was never delivered to basically go kick rocks. I contacted eBay customer care about the issue over chat and they confirmed that the order was never delivered to the address and is still with the post office. The agent said that she's going to file a claim and I should wait 72 hours. Well, I waited for the 72 hours where I received an email asking if my issue had been file and if I wanted to file a eBay money back claim(Something like that). I did only to be met with several response that the tracking shows delivered and nothing can be done. I don't think anyone actually reads through these messages because if they'd read the messages then they would have understood the issue. The status on eBay states the order was delivered however if you should track the order then you'll see it wasn't delivered but handed to their driver for final delivery which never made it to my address. They sent me a link to track the package and I know for a fact that they didn't check because the same link they sent proves everything I've been saying. I'm extremely disappointed in my experience.
