Item mistakenly bid on
I mistakenly bid on an incorrect item (a hair cream - and I meant to bid on the one that said "light" but mistakenly bid on the wrong product), my bid was accepted, but I'm now realizing my error. I have not yet purchased this item. How do I back out of this transaction, or can I? Thank you.

You cannot "back out" of your responsibility as a buyer, but you can attempt to contact the seller and politely ask them to cancel your bid.But be aware that the seller no not at all obligated to agree to your request to cancel your bid.
If the auction has ended with you as the high bidder, you have won the item and must pay for your purchase.
