Item miscategorized, still being shipped to me

Hi, I recently bought an antique watch that failed authentication due to miscategorization. It's still being shipped to me, which I don't understand. I thought if it failed authentication it would go back to the seller. Does that mean the metal or stones are not what the seller claimed them to be, as listed in the listing details? The seller does not accept returns and I'm quite confused by all of this. Thank you.

@princekona When you get the watch you can open an eBay Money Back Guarantee Return. Doesn't match pictures or description. Then state in the case that the watch FAILED authentication. Sometimes the authenticator fail an item that IS authentic so you might take it to a local watch shop for an opinion before returning if you want to try and keep it. The seller will not refund for any fees the watch shop charges for inspection.

The seller will pay return shipping and have to refund you 100%.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request.

You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Item is defective", "Arrived damaged", "Missing Parts" OR "Doesn't Match photos and description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.
