    Item Location Lies
                     

    Hello, I've read many complaints about this but I am guessing there is a financial benefit to Ebay that stops them from ending this practice. I needed a unique cable as soon as possible. I searched the listings and found one that the location was listed as the same city I live in ( In South Carolina). I should get that fairly quickly, right? Wrong.....

    After paying for the item I received the confirmation and notice the seller was 6 states away ( Texas ). I messaged the seller to simply ask why the discrepancy. I was assured the item would be shipped from the location in the listing. Wrong.....After checking the tracking, (and still not having the item ) I noticed it was being shipped out of New York. Why Ebay allows sellers to miss-represent an items location is puzzling. It definitely will give me pause to buy on Ebay when time is a factor.
