Item listed for sale disappears from site minutes after I post it
Two times in the past week I listed a guitar for sale. I get an acknowledgement and item number after listing. Then within minutes it cant be found anywhere. Not in active, not in drafts and not in scheduled. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I schedule he listing a few hours out?? Spoke with Ebay agent on phone a few days ago, they cant figure it out and pass me from person to person. Of course I get cut off after a while and no one bothers to call back. Useless customer service.

That usually happens when eBay’s system pulls a listing for a quick review before it goes live. Guitars can trigger that because of brand or authenticity filters, or even a word in the title or description that eBay flags.
Here’s what to check:
Look here to see if it ended or was removed: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/ended
Check your messages or notifications – eBay normally sends one if they pulled or are reviewing it.
If you scheduled the listing, it won’t show active until that start time, so refresh the page and check the Scheduled tab.
Avoid using brand names like “Gibson†or “Fender style†unless that’s the exact brand. That’s a common trigger for removal.
If you don’t see it anywhere, try posting again without scheduling to see if it stays up.
