Item listed and sold as OEM, but not OEM
Your previous message
I ordered two genuine Dewalt 9ah batteries as shown in the picture for the listing, but received two knock off batteries instead. When I sent a message to trustbattery23 they offered me $10 to accept the items. At this point I also couldn't post a review of the seller to caution other buyers.

·2 years agoFirst order of business is to get your money back.
Use your eBay 30-day Money Back Guarantee to open a return case.
Cite “significantly not as described†as the reason for the return.
If prompted, take a photo of the batteries you received and submit the case.
Seller will either be required to send you a return shipping label, or issue a full refund (without return of the items).
If seller pays for the return, then use that label and return the items. Upon receipt, the seller will have two (2) days to issue the refund. If they do not, you can ask eBay to step in and they will force the refund for you.
After this, you can leave feedback (feedback is to be left at the end of the transaction).
The most likely reason that you cannot leave feedback at this time is because TRS sellers cannot receive neutral or negative feedback for seven (7) days after you receive your item. This is done to allow sellers/buyers to work out any issues.

OP2 years agoThank you for the reply. I will be waiting with bated breath to review this seller. Sellers like this do a disservice to all sellers on Ebay by not being honest.
Thanks again, Don

·2 years agoTotally agree. Dishonest/deceptive sellers should not be on the platform. They drive buyers away, and they tarnish reputable sellers.
