Item ID: 275437592146 BUYER SENT BACK ITEM CRACKED
I sold a vintage planters pot a Robinson Rainsbottom. Item sold for $383 plus $66 shipping. The item was shipped and delivered promptly. A few days later seller messages the pot has more chips than the one chip that was on my selling description. He then sends poor quality photos, and in the photos you can clearly see another pot. We believe he was trying to send us back the crappy pot and keep the better we sold him. We agreed to him to send it back. We paid to ship it back to us. Before we even got the item back Ebay gave him the money back!? He sent the pot back thrown in a box, he did not ship it back like ebay says it should be as it was sent to him. When I shipped it initially it was padded and protected AND double boxed. Ebay gave him all his money back. I have sent pictures and the affidavit form a few times. Ebay has sided with him and closed the case. Ebays animated messages messaged me as me being the buyer? Ebay messaged me by a different name? Ive been selling since 1999. I am very disgusted with ebay! Item was sent back poorly shipped. I have video opening the box and pictures. The pot has a HUGE crack on the inside. I am very very very very disappointed in ebay! I now have a worthless vintage pot. Also frustrated that there is no phone number to call?? WHAT DO I DO!??

Mentor3 years agoIf you accepted the return within the time limit, ebay would not have refunded before tracking showed it returned and you had a couple of days to inspect and do the refund yourself. Also the ebay message to you with a different name/ID seems strange.
So did you get your original item back? If not you can file a police report and include it with an appeal to get ebay to take another look at the case.
