item I purchased not showing in summary

I need to return an item not showing up in my summary. I got an email about the item, but when I click on it it goes to another item. chat has proven useless.and no, I don't have another account

Is it possible you made that purchase using a different eBay account? Or as a guest?

If you are certain you used this account, see if the purchase appears among your recent orders here:

https://ebay.com/help

If you purchased using a different account, sign in to that account and find the transaction in your Purchase History.

If you purchased as a guest, sign out of your current eBay account, then use the "order details" link in the email you received regarding that order.
