Item I bought was broken by ups
I ordered a welder the seller took it to a ups outlet they boxed it up and sent it. On receiving it it was poorly packed and broken. Seller has received pictures of it and said to open a dispute with eBay. How do I do this?

Mentor3 years agoGo to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he can not send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
Then message the seller and tell him it is his responsibility to file a claim with UPS. He should be asking you to hold the item until he knows if UPS wants to inspect the item. If he asks you to hold the item, tell him you can not wait past the required return date - he will need to provide the label, then issue the refund before you send the return if he needs you to hold it longer.
