Item ended up being purchased by someone local....can I refund his shipping and arrange for pickup?

Is it just a matter of selecting the Refund option in the drop down and inputting the amount that he paid? thanks

You will not be able to change the delivery method after the sale. You will need to cancel the sale using reason problem with buyer's address. Then list the item again with the local pick up delivery for the buyer to repurchase. If you just refund the shipping you will receive a defect for not uploading tracking and have no proof of delivery. If the buyer should open an item not received claim you will have to refund.

When a buyer chooses local pick up as the delivery method they will receive a QR code and a digit code. When they pick up the item you scan the QR code, or enter the digit code, into the eBay APP as proof of pick up. You must use the APP and can not add it on a desktop.
