Item did not arrive as Tracking and the Seller stated it would

Question

I took time off of work to accept the delivery of said item,, The Item never arrived even though the Tracking and the Seller clearly stated it was on schedule for that days deliveryâ€¦. Delivery did not happen and now Ive lost a complete day of income and no delivery of the productâ€¦. Any way to recover my lost income because I waited for nothing?

There is no way to recover your lost income through an eBay transaction that did not arrive based on tracking. The Seller probably just reiterating what the carrier's tracking history was stating ... which is subjective and completely out fo the Seller's control.

Is there someone else who can receive the package for you? Is your address an unsafe place to have a package dropped off? If so you can probably arrange with the carrier to hold the item for pick up, that might make sense.
