Item delivered that was never delivered and suddenly different tracking shows delivery
I seem to be scammed. I purchased a projector screen. I was provided a tracking number that states it was shipped from a location and USPS is awaiting delivery from shipping carrier. I realized I was scammed bcz suddenly after the purchase, the seller became unavailable for a month. I tried reaching the seller then received a DNS failure. eBay protocol was to wait a few days after delivery has passed and to reach seller. Then after another few days if not resolved, to contact eBay to assist. Well what happened next is on a Sunday, the 1st tracking number I was provided still had no information except it had left it's original destination. Then after midnight, it suddenly showed with a different tracking number that is was shipped from start to finish thru USPS starting from another state all the way to its destination, but no address but the city was only provided. There is something about these scammers who know how to scam on eBay bcz after digging on eBay, they know if it's less than $750, a signature is not required. This is how their getting away with this. I don't get though how they're able to use carriers to produce as something was delivered with detail, but truly never was.
I know this has been long, therefore has anyone run into this issue and was successful getting their refund? I had to appeal my case bcz eBay closed my case as it shows it was delivered. Mind you, the proof from the seller is it was delivered in or near the mailbox. No carrier would deliver such pkg by leaving it by a mailbox on the street.
