Item delivered but doesn't show delivered
I sold an item shipped it with tracking # person was not home so they had to go to post office to pick it up. They picked up item but post office still shows it's not delivered?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like the clerk at the P.O. did not scan the package when your buyer went to pick it up. I can understand your worry but one thing you can do is message your buyer and ask if the clerk scanned the package when they picked it up. If they do not know or say they didn't see the package get scanned, try explaining that because you are a new seller, ebay is holding your payment, until the tracking number gets a Delivered scan or you receive a positive feedback for the transaction.
Even with a Delivered scan or a positive feedback, ebay is going to hold the payment for 30 days because that is how long a buyer has to file a dispute, if they are unhappy with the item. And because of the cost of the item you sold. After that the funds will be released but your bank may hold up depositing the funds for a few days, because they are coming from an unfamiliar (to your account) source and they will wait until the payment is verified.

OP9 months agoHey. Thanks for reply. I contacted buyer about this. I asked him to check with post office about the scan. He said he informed the postal clerk he picked up the package and make sure it was scanned. He said clerk acknowledge everything. Buyer has left positive feed back about the item. I was just trying to figure out if there was anything else I could do.
