Item defective but seller will not take return.

I purchased ring that is not as described plus has no tag despite advertised as nwt. I contacted seller who will not accept return. I canâ€™t find a way to contact eBay.

Ebay has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee which overrides the seller's "No returns" policy, so instead of contacting Ebay, you file a Return Request.

Go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under â€œMore actionsâ€ click on â€œReturn itemâ€ and select the reason for the return. (doesn't match description). You will need to attach a photo.
The seller will have 3 days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.
If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.
