Item Defective
I was curious if I should pursue eBay's money back guarantee on an item that the software was messed with and doesn't work as it should. The seller did not indicate this. They have offered a partial refund and for me to keep the item. I'd rather just send the thing back and get fully reimbursed if possible. I thought their page said it was returnable when I purchased it, but now the item is listed that it's not. There were a lot of 5 star reviews for the seller as well.

Mentor3 years agoYou are entitled to return the defective item no matter what the seller's return policy is.
When you receive an item that is not as described, you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
