Go to your Purchase history and locate the item. Click the CONTACT SELLER link and let the seller know. Attach photos of the damaged item, the outer packaging, the inner packaging, the label. The seller can send a full refund, and have you set all of that aside. Seller can then file an insurance claim with the carrier, sending the photos you sent. The carrier may have you bring the damaged item to them for inspection.
You need to open a claim that item arrived broken/damage.
Go and take a look at your purchase history. You can find it on the top right of any Ebay page. Hover over the words My Ebay. A menu will appear, click on Purchase history. Find this transaction. Look what the estimated time of arrival window is on your purchase. When it is one day past the last date, then file claim.
That will protect you and your money. Follow the instructions that will appear on your screen. All the information will be there.
