Item damaged between Authentication Gaurantee and my house
I purchased an oversized sports card slab that had to go through authentication and arrived today. Authentication packed it in two padded envelopes instead of something with hard protection (like they do for traditional-sized slabs). A corner chunk of the slab broke off in shipment because of the careless packaging. I know it happened between Authentication and me because the broken-off chunk is inside the sealed bag (I have not broken the tamper seals either). I do not want to return it because it’s a grail item. Does anyone have any experience with getting some kind of credit from eBay to get the thing reslabbed since its their fault it was damaged?
