Item Classified and CLEARLY Listed as "Local Pick Up ONLY"
This scenario just a few days ago, commencing 2/14/2024 -
A buyer contacts me with an offer for my Local Pick Up Only item, I remind the person Item is Local PU Only and ask his or her zip code - Never responds.
Next day, same Buyer - who I now I know is out of state much less "Local" - submits an Offer which I Decline, explaining again in my Decline that the Item is Local Pick Up Only.
a bit over 4 hours later, I get a notification that "You made the sale" - I'm like wot the heel?
I subsequently cancel, all the i's and t's yet the data trail says money has changed hands, though not posted to my bank - I smell a scam, BIG time.
Prior to sale I notified eBay there was a problem with this buyer, the proceeded to allow transaction.
What the HECK is going on?
