item bought was a scam what to do about it

Question

I purchased an item (blu-ray set), it turned out to be a scam, the blu-rays are blank and fabricated.

I do not want to return the item because it will just be resold to someone else.

I reported it to ebay, but it seems like nothing will happen to the seller and no way to get a refund.

Does anyone know another way to get resolution from this?

I love ebay and have had very little problems throughout the years, but the upturn of problems and no way to solve them is starting to discourage me from buying on ebay.

In order to get a refund on eBay for a "not as described" item, you must be willing to return what you received at the seller's expense.
