item already authenticated by ebay when I bought it two months ago I am now reselling the item
And they want to send it off for authentication again. And charge me for it. I cannot get hold of anyone at ebay. I advertised the item as already authenticated by eBay. I do not know how to rectify this. Any help would be appreciated.

Had you listed this before and sold it and it was returned? If so, when you relisted it, it created a new listing number and flagged it to put it in the authentication program again.
