Question

This issue has been reported several times but none of the solutions paper to work for me. I have sold an item in the UK to a buyer. and eBay is refusing to allow me to purchase the postage label. saying I need to get Confirmation signature for the parcel to protect eBay. I have selected the option on the postage form and it still refuses to let me purchase the postage.

Some people say they have had issues with the description so they reduce the description and then the postage label is issued, but once you have sold and the buyer has paid eBay you can't make any changes to your listing. which seems reasonable.

Anyone any ideas? is there a UK contact number for ebay that is worth ringing?

Ok, This is sorted now, i did manage to get to speak to a real live human being who was incredibly helpful.

The issue was not related to the error message I was getting which was that there should be an extra payment for Buyer delivery confirmation added to my postage ( which I had already done) it was purely a result of my selecting a postage option that eBay thought had insufficient insurance compensation should there have been an issue. If eBay had made that known I could have done something about it or eBay should have given me the option to accept or reject the cover I believe.
