Isue with eBay international shipping
I’m having issues with eBay international shipping. It looks like I am enrolled in EIS. However I just received a message from a buyer in the UK that the shipping would cost him around $90. I currently have free shipping through USPS ground for all domestic US a packages. my customer does not want to pay $90 for shipping. And I don’t wanna lose the sale. I went onto edit my shipping policies and there is an option to add shipping services. Maybe I can change the international shipping here. Does anyone know what to do?

Mentor8 months agoInternational shipping is expensive no matter where you purchase it from. The EIS includes all customs fees and VAT taxes the buyer will need to pay to receive the item in their country. The buyer should know this since they are located in the UK.

OP8 months agoThank you so much for helping me. I've had my store on eBay for a couple years now and I'm still learning. I appreciated your answer. I ended up changing the shipping from USPS priority mail to USPS first class. I normally ship USPS ground, but that service isn't available in the UK. So, the next best thing was USPS first class. Which brought the shipping price from $80 to $20. The customer agreed and I made the sale. Thank you for checking in! I love this community!
