Issues with fraud seller
I bought something from someone to seem a scammer.
anyone have had this problem here?
it’s so frustrating.
I’m so used to purchasing item here that never thought this kind of scam was even possible.

OP5 months agoI bought an item from a seller. About two hours later I found an item near my location and asked the seller to cancels the order.
seller never replied back to me. He’s gone no answer. I bought this item yesterday around 7am and ups says it was delivered today . I haven’t received no package or any reply from the seller.
I called ups, they said the item that was shipped does match the address I’m giving them .
There is no way this item was shipped from another state in 24hrs. Thats how I know is a scam.

I'm sorry that happened. Here's what to do
b) If your name and address weren't on that label, ask the UPS if they will put this in writing; it's helpful, but not required. (They won't tell you whose name *is* on the package, only that your name and address *is not*.) Also, ask for the weight of the package using that tracking number. Follow the rest of the steps starting with 2 below:

You can usually find the weight and other details for UPS here:

then click " Proof of Delivery"
The proof of delivery may have more details about the delivery site, and the weight. Screenshot that.
2) Then, report the seller using this process

Important, select "Suspicious seller activity"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Share any documentation you gathered. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on Instagram this way:

Send a private direct message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
PS I would omit the cancellation issue, and focus on the fake tracking number and you want a refund.
Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.

wow! I always thought it was safe to buy on eBay and Amazon .

This is a tricky scam but you can get your refund.
