Issues with eBay
The buyer requested a refund 15 days after receiving the product, just snapped a few photos of some cardboard boxes, and I had no choice but to issue the refund. The weight and size of the DDR5 Corsair 8000 CL38 are completely different from those of cardboard boxes. To get a refund just by taking a couple of photos of cardboard boxes 15 days later—I don’t even know what to say. What's even more ridiculous is that when I contacted the buyer to ask what the problem was, he didn't even bother to reply.

A no return policy doesn't mean no refunds. Keep in mind that your return policy is only for buyers remorse returns.... changed mind doesn't fit, etc. The eBay Money Back Guarantee overrules your returns policy.
If the buyer files a refund request SAYING that the item is not as described then you need to accept the return and issue the return shipping label.
If you do not accept the return willingly then the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund. You do not get your seller's fees back, you get a defect and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.
If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back:

Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater returns. The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.

OP5 months agoI reported it right away, and what’s even more ridiculous is that when I contacted eBay today, they hung up on me while I was explaining the problem.

Mentor5 months ago@hao-7362 I am sorry that they hung up on you. Unfortunately what I stated though is the way refunds work. They are weighted in the buyers favor. Reporting doesn't do anything other than go on the buyers record.
The only time reporting helps a seller is they qualify for seller protections. Since you didn't offer Free Returns you had to refund the full amount.
