Issue with Refund Request..help!
I recently sold an 18L tankless water heater that worked just fine when I tested it. The buyer contacted me a few days after receiving saying that he couldn't get more than a 20 minute hot shower and that sometimes the unit shut off. There are many reasons why this could happen including faulty installation, issues with his gas line, etc.
Regardless, today, he initiated a refund request and is now saying that it is probably due to the fact that when it was delivered, it was dropped over a 6 foot fence. He said this in the Ebay messenger. He never once mentioned that to me prior to this return request. What do I do with this information? It sounds like no matter what, Ebay won't side with the seller, but this guy is coming across shady and seems to be flip-flopping stories.
