Issue with Generating Shipping Label

Hi, I’m having issues with printing the shipping label from EBay. I have an item going to France. Filled out customs form. Found the HS Tarriff code online (hopefully it’s right, eBay doesn’t really help new sellers with this), and then went to create label and error code pops and says something went wrong and weren’t able to generate the label.
Now - I did have to edit the address. I asked the seller to change it and he said he did but nothing changed on my end. So I made the changes. So perhaps it could be this?
I’m not sure and it’d be great if EBay had more descriptive or detailed errors so we know what exactly went wrong and can fix it.

I suspect by editing the address that caused an issue. If you KNOW the original address is wrong then you can message the Buyer and suggest that they ask you to cancel so they can correct their address and purchase the item again. If they do then Cancel using the reason, "Buyer requested ...". That avoids a strike on your account.
You can also cancel using the reason "Problem with address", no strike for that either.

OP3 weeks agoDoes the seller receive his funds back instantly? This wasn’t a cheap service. Is there a way for the seller to edit his address and it change in the order so we don’t have to cancel and he can receive his product?

When you cancel the Buyer will receive their funds back to the original funding source and it may take time as money does not move instantly.
If you purchased a label you can cancel it on this page within 28 days and your account will be credited in 21 days or less: Track and manage your shipments
