Issue with Delivery Status for Digital eSIM Orders (Tracking Not Updating)

Hi eBay Community,

I’m currently selling eSIM products (digital barcodes) on eBay. For each order, I send the barcode directly to the customer via message, and the customer is able to use it successfully.

However, in the eBay order tracking, the status only shows “Shipped” and does not update to “Delivered,” since there is no physical shipment involved.

Could you please guide me on the correct process for handling digital product deliveries like this on eBay?

How should I mark the item as delivered?
Is there a proper way to upload proof of delivery for digital items?
Are there any best practices to avoid issues with order completion or disputes?

I want to make sure I’m following eBay’s policies correctly.

You indicate on the listing "Shipping: Free Flat Rate Freight" which is not correct.

Sellers need to be eBay approved to list electronically delivered items outside of the Everything Else > Information Products category

There is also a link on that page to click on to start the application process to be approved.

The requirements needed to sell the items include:

Seller has an established history of active selling for at least 90 days, with 100 or more transactions and $1,000 or more in sales in the last 12 months
Seller maintains a track record of delivering positive buying experiences, including an account that is Above Standard or Top Rated
Seller complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and eBay policies
Seller has registered for eBay managed payments and verified their identity
Seller does not engage in high-risk activities. If we believe a seller is a high risk for not delivering the product or meeting these requirements, we may, at our sole discretion, restrict their ability to sell these products
