Issue with a purchased piece, that has a warranty
I purchased a tumbler press in December., before purchasing I made sure it had a warranty because of a passed issue with one. The press heating pad will no longer get heat up at all. I've reached out to the seller, did as the seller asked, which was post a video of it not working on you tube then send them the link, it has been now and they will not respond to me. I tried chat with ebay as well and they were of zero help. Suggestions as to how to get this resolved please.

·3 years agoIf you want a warranty, don't buy from the Chinese sellers here.
They might offer a warranty, but you have to pay to ship the item to and from China.
If you paid through Pay Pal, you might have a few days to open a case with them, but you'll have to pay return shipping.
No Pay Pal, contact your credit card.

Mentor3 years agoIf you purchased a third party warranty, contact the warranty service directly.
eBay's money back guarantee only applies in the first thirty days after receipt of the item.
Manufacturer's warranties typically only apply if you purchase the item from an authorized dealer; check with the manufacturer to see what your options are.
A warranty is only as good as the reputation of whoever offers it. A claim of a one year warranty made by a random seller on eBay is not worth much. Neither you nor eBay can force the seller to honor the warranty if the seller disappears or ignores you.
You may have some protection from PayPal or your payment method; PayPal and many credit cards may offer up to six months protection for your purchases.

Did you read all of the several previous responses that you have received here?
Unless the item purchased is from a dealer licensed to sell the product … it should be assumed there are no warranties on eBay products.

When you "made sure it had a warranty", did you ascertain as to WHO issued the warranty? Was it the manufacturer or did you purchase a third party warranty?
Ebay sellers cannot issue warranties on the items they sell unless they are an authorized seller for the company that manufactures the item.
