EBay and its subsidiary TCGplayer have faced accusations of union busting after TCGplayer employees, through the Communications Workers of America (CWA), won a union election in March 2023. Following the victory, the company allegedly launched an anti-union campaign, hired a union-busting firm, and engaged in tactics to delay contract negotiations. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has found that eBay/TCGplayer violated worker rights and federal labor law.
