Is this Fraud from an Ebay seller??
Summary: arim777 is experiencing issues submitting a fraud query to eBay after receiving unexpected shipments addressed to "Kristen Jarvis" and a concerning email from an eBay seller. They suspect potential fraud due to these events coinciding. jacbarcollectibles suggests contacting eBay Customer Service for assistance, noting the process involves navigating AI bot questions and potential call-back barriers.
I tried to submit a fraud query and kept getting "We ran into a problem. Please try again later." I tried 3 times in the last 4 hours. There is no help from ebay so I am on this member post.
Here is what my question is about:
Over the last week I have received 4 shipments ( with small low cost items) in official HD boxes with the label from Home Depot to our address with a name I don't recognize "Kristen Jarvis."
Today I get an email from an ebay seller that I bought some items from:

to me
You have a new message
From duyo_469
Dear xxxxxxx
Your order is on its way. The UPS tracking numbers are: 1Z64 and 1Z xxxxx
Please verify that the package matches the tracking numbers. There is no need to worry about any other details.
If you notice the recipient's name listed as "Kristen Jarvis,"
please do not be concerned; simply accept the delivery as usual. This is the person handling your warranty claim.
If you encounter any issues with the order, please message me immediately. I will resolve the matter quickly. Due to the time difference, my response might be slightly delayed, but I will certainly reply within 8 working hours. Thank you very much!

THIS CAN'T BE A COINCIDENCE RIGHT?

MentorSep 9, 2026 at 10:14 PMThat does appear odd. HD does have a drop shipping program that is ok with ebay, however if the seller is not signed up for this program and is just ordering from HD as ebay orders come in that is against ebay and HD policy. Best to do as already posted and contact ebay.

MentorSep 9, 2026 at 8:33 PMThat certainly is interesting although I cannot see the point of a seller doing this. You can contact customer service using this link and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time. Unfortunately you will still need to answer the AI bot questions in order to get help. eBay removed our way to get around the questions so you may need to ask for “Agent” several times before the system gets the message and lets you ask for the call back. Please be aware that there are several things that can prevent you from receiving the return call. Some phone service providers have spam filters that will block eBay calls. Also, this can happen if you are using a VOIP phone number from your Internet provider.
