Is this a Scam? Kermann Wool Rug
I won an auction for a gorgeous Kermann wool rug. I was looking at the seller's other rugs and noticed other one-of-a-kind rugs had an auction listing, usually starting at .99, and a separate BIN listing for $1,800. I thought that was odd, so I checked their "sold" items to see if other rugs had actually sold at auction. That's when I discovered several of these one-of-a-kind rugs had sold at auction multiple times over the course of a couple of months. The rug I just won and paid for has been sold at auction at least 4 times in the last 2 months! What is going on?!

Mentor10 months agoDoes the seller have positive feedback for such auctions? That might give you an indication of what kind of seller you are dealing with.
It may not be clear if the problem was with the seller or with the buyers; perhaps some of the buyers did not pay or those transactions could not be completed for some other reason.
Otherwise you will just have to wait and see what arrives.
