Is this a scam.
I got an email from eBay that says the buyers payment is being held because I need to purchase gift card, take picture of it and the receipt and send to eBay before eBay will release the payment into my bank account. Is this a real thing that eBay does?

It is a SCAM!!! That email was NOT from Ebay.
