Is this a scam?
I’m a first time seller on eBay the person that is buying my item their eBay profile says they’re from Canada. The address for the shipping is in Texas. This is a $1500 item so I’m very worried about being scammed as I’ve never selling on eBay before I don’t know if this is like a normal thing that you’ll see often or what??

Mentor1 month agoWhile I agree with my fellow mentor that such an expensive item was probably not the best choice for your first or second eBay sale ---
you say the address for the shipping is in Texas.
The listing shows you will ship to the United States, via FedEx Ground Economy.
You are in Oregon. The shipping address is in Texas.
Both places -- Oregon and Texas -- are in the USA.
As long as the buyer pays, through eBay, and eBay has provided you with that buyer's shipping address, in Texas, which is in the USA --
eBay expects you to ship the item to the buyer at that Texas address. Your buyer also expects the same.

Mentor1 month agoThat was not an item I would try to learn to sell on eBay with.
You can cancel with problem with buyers address since the two addresses do not match.
