Is there no way to see the Chat History between a buyer and seller once buyer has accepted and paid?

For an item that sold, I have access and can see the chat history with all interested parties except for the eventual buyer. Does this history go away once they've become the buyer and have paid? Or is it archived somewhere?
For an item listed and sold, every potential person inquired to the condition to which I provided the exact details for what was working/not working. The buyer, whom I shipped to, is claiming they did not know this, yet I know I told them via chat.

TLDR - can I see my prior chat correspondence with person who eventually becomes buyer?

@tifmat822 Yes, you can see the prior chat. Is it possible they asked under a different ID?
