How can I get buyers to leave feedback when they buy something?

Mentor2 years agoMy feedback received is only 30% when I give feedback to buyers at 100%. Keep in mind that leaving feedback isn't mandatory. Never beg for it. I once saw a negative left for a seller that said here is the feedback you pestered me for. No feedback = good feedback. Some things are better left alone. Your number will grow.

A lot depends on the Buyers in the categories you sell in. In 9 years of selling the FB that Buyers have left for my items has consistently been between 50%-60%. I leave it for them no later than the day the item ships. I basically thank them for their purchase and that avoids getting pesky reminders about leaving FB for Buyers.
-I don't ask for it
-I don't put little notes in packages about it
-I let it happen naturally if it happens at all
Keep this in mind, aside from seeing and buying your listings the package they receive and how the item is packed can make a big difference. Aside from your work on the listing it is the next "first impression" they get about you. If items are packed neatly and securely that will help. If they aren't that will hurt.
