is there anyway to actually reach someone at ebay?
I need to notify ebay that I have not received a purchased item. When I select the item and use the pull-down that allows me to select 'item not received' it wants me to register. When i enter email/password it tells me that this account is already used. No **bleep**!!! Its mine!!!
The problem is that when i originally purchased the item i did it as a guest, through ebay, using paypal so if I first login to ebay it isn't aware of the purchased item. However if I go to the email receipt and select the item it takes me to it in ebay.
This is cyclical and I cannot figure out how to get past it. I don't want to change my password since i can actually have an account that works fine (with the same credentials) if I login first.
Unfortunately, ebay has made it impossible to actually reach a living persons (AFAICT) even through email.

Log out of your eBay account and request the guest account details from this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065&st=
Then you start the refund request from the guest account email. Do not log in to your regular eBay account.
If you need help starting the refund request here's how to contact customer service.
1. Select the live chat or call back option on the left hand side of this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back
If you are located outside of the US or Canada then you will need to use chat or social media.
2. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
