Is there an opportunity to speak to someone about returning an expensive item that doesn’t work
Done all the email contacts, now am getting *not monitored* on email addresses that were monitored, the item came from overseas but isn’t for for purpose in the UK I was told in emails that I am entitled to a refund and return then I got a ridiculous discount offer from the seller which I refused and now am unable to contact anyone. Or is it just better to give it to a lawyer and claim for all my expenses plus legal costs?

Mentor2 years agoFor help in the UK, make sure you are signed in to the UK site:

If an item is not as described, you should be able to start a return using the reason "not as described" within thirty days of receiving it. The seller will have to either refund you, provide a prepaid return label or pay for tracked shipping and refund you once the item has been returned. If the seller does not cooperate, ask eBay to step in after three business days.
