Is there a way to your own mailing labels to avoid the shoppimg label fee

I sold something for 10. Dallors and the shipping label was 8.50. Is there a way to print my own labels

You are not required to purchase your shipping label through eBay, you can purchase from another discount site or directly from the carrier. Keep in mind that you receive a discount off the full rate when you purchase through eBay labels, at the carrier you will pay full retail which can be much higher.

Make sure that the package information is correct and on the labels page and you have the correct carrier and service selected to match what you put on your listing. If you don't see that information displayed look for a link to the advanced labels page near the top.

It is also very important to enter accurate package details when you create the listing so your buyer is charged the correct amount.

The buyer pays you the shipping and you use that to purchase the label. The buyer's payment to eBay includes the item, the shipping you set on your listing, and any tax they owe. eBay takes their selling fees out and sends you the balance.

You can print your own address labels but you will still need to pay to ship the item. There is no "fee" to use the Ebay label, the cost is the postage to ship the item.
