Is there a way to tell when Amazon shipping will be used
I stopped buying on Amazon and came back to ebay because even with a drop box and notes on my account, amazon drivers will leave packages in absolutely random places on my property. I have filed several deliveries as not received only to find them days later at my outside garage door, or by the back door that can't be seen from the driveway that we don't use. Recently amazon has been dropping off some of my ebay purchases, once again leaving them in inconvenient places. I don't want the treasure hunt.

Mentor5 months agoSome sellers sell on both Amazon and ebay, and have their inventory stored at an Amazon warehouse. ebay and Amazon if fine with that. What they both do not like, is for a seller to list an item on ebay and when it sells, that seller uses their Prime account to make the purchase on Amazon and have it sent as a gift. When this happens, you will find a "gift receipt" in the package. There is no way to know what type of seller you are dealing with unless you use the CONTACT SELLER link and ask them.
If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.
