Is there a way to see the fund was put on hold?
I bought bid item but the item received did not work and had to return.
I initiated a return a few hours after receiving it and requested ebay not to pay out.
Is there a way, I can check whether payment was on hold?
When do ebay do the pay out ? Is it immediately after item was delivered or a time like a day or two later?

OP1 month agoHow can I speak to a live agent? I messaged a seller to get a more value partial refund and he agreed but he is trying to trick me cancelling a return so he can do the refund. Cancel meant closing the return request!

Mentor1 month agoDo not cancel the return request.
Since the seller did not provide a return shipping label nor a full refund, you can go back to your return request and click on the link to have Ebay step in to help you.
Partial refunds are between you and the seller. The seller is not obligated to provide a partial refund.

Mentor1 month agoIf the seller is a long time seller with excellent feedback, s/he could have already received the payout. If the seller is new or an infrequent seller, ebay may hold the payout for up to 31 days. When a buyer files a case, the seller has to respond within 3 days. If a refund is required, the payment comes from the seller's funds even if the payout has not yet been made.
