Is there a way to see if a non paying buyer is bidding on anything?
I’ve been recently receiving non payers . In fact 3 in a row. Is anyone else having this problem with auction style formats?
why doesn’t Ebay block them from selling and buying for 96 hours, since that’s Ebays policy on how long a seller has to wait, for a buyer to pay?

·1 year agoSet your Buyer Requirements https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements to "Block buyers who caused 2 cancellations of unpaid order within 12 month(s)." 2 in 12 is the strictest setting.
For that to work the sellers they stiffed have to have cancelled for non-payment after 4 calendar days (and before 30 days) from the "order" (e.g. end of auction, offer accepted, Buy It Now). I take this to mean after the 5th midnight Pacific Time, not 96 hours.

Mentor1 year agoeBay leaves that up to the seller since every seller has a different tolerance for blocking buyers. There is an option in your buyer requirements to allow eBay to automatically give an unpaid item strike after the 96 hour limit for paying. Sellers must then also set the requirement to block users with two or more unpaid item strikes from their listings.
