Is There A Way to Issue A Partial Refund For Shipping Cost

Hello,

I realized that I could ship an item more inexpensively than originally thought. I would like to refund a small amount of money to my buyer for shipping.

Can anyone help me learn how to do that? It's not a return - I just want them to receive a small refund.

You can issue partial refunds for items in Seller Hub up to 90 days after the original transaction. Here's how:

Locate the order in Seller Hub. https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord
From the dropdown menu, select Send refund.
Choose a reason for the refund.
Specify a refund amount for the item or for the order.
Enter the desired refund amount, and select Send refund.
